How's My Thursday

thursday was my bf's off day. and so, we went out together. at first, we went to mid valley for lunch at kim gary, and walked around for a while. we left at around 3++pm for something boring (interview) at a gym club for the sales position.

when we reach there, i went down the car feeling something's not quite right but not sure what. i finally found out what was wrong while i was waiting for the interviewer to come down. it's my shoes. i'm wearing a pair of flat sandals and forgot to change to my high heels which i brounght down to the car. i've got no time to go change it as the interviewer is on the way to meet me and the car is somewhere away from the building i'm in. and so, i attend the interview with a pair of flat sandals(so unprofessional :( ). the interviewer is a foreigner and he asked many questions. some of it are "tell me about yourself, how comfortable are you with strangers, have you done a presentation before, what will you do when a client you called is not interested, how do you get new leads other than from friends and clients, how do you manage your day, do you think service is important" and many more. how well does it go? err... i think so-so only ler. cause don't know why, i kept getting choked, messed up and stucked when replying the "tell me about yourself" (nervous? not ready?). either than that, i think he's quite satisfied with my answers though. guess if i'm chosen, i'll have to start work next week. do i hope to get this job? a bit a bit ler. not too confident about myself kua. you have to be creative in finding new ways to get clients. so, it's not fully an indoor job, it's also an outdoor one where you have to go find new leads. so i feel it's a job full with stress?

after the interview, we went to get my contact lens :D so happy. it's one with uv blue and it is blue in colour. just a light shade of blue, not those colour contact lens where your eye will turn blue also. luckily everything's fine, else headache cause will have to wait again. at first we thought get the contacts already go to genting. but we spent almost 2 hours(until around 7pm) there chatting and so, genting, bye bye.

after we left, we went back to mid valley again to change the fan blade which is broken from a fan we bought before going to the interview. so we had dinner there, walk around, got a call from his friend, bought tickets for the movie The Myth and have to go fetch his friend (1 no car, 1 got car but on't want to fetch him along). so we went to fetch them (the one with car reached mid valley and purposely turn back home because we ask him want to fetch him or not. omg, never see a guy sooooo kedekut before) and reached back to mid valley again (3rd time) in time for the movie.

the movie starts at 11.45 and finishes at 2.00. the guys need to go to the washroom which is unfortunately closed for renovation. so have to go find petrol station which is 5 minutes away. once reached the petrol station, the 2 of them rushed down the car and ran to the washroom like 2 big sized small kid. damn funny. i reached home at 3am (long time never try before already) and went to bed sleeping like a pig. :p

Happy Mooncake Festival

would just like to wish everyone "Happy Mooncake Festival". just make sure you don't eat too much mooncake. can't imagine seeing you all getting round like a mooncake next time. :p

Bf's Day At Work

since i'm no longer working and bf is working alone on friday, i went to work with him :D. his job requires him to travel around going to customer's house and that means i can go 'long kai'. so now, let me tell you a bit about the trip here. just 3.

went to a house at sri hartamas first because the pregnant lady says she wants to sleep already (afternoon nap). the moment we reach there, her friends start to arrive one after another. wants to sleep? wonder if she have the chance to. when she see me, she starts to invite me to go in her house and sit because it's hot outside. of course i did not. i told her it's ok as i want to see bf do his work (never see before). then she say "everyday see still not enough?" so i replied "no la, today only". i don't think she heard me as bf also did not heard what i said. after finishing his work outside, he have to go work inside. and again the lady invite me to go in and again i did not (will feel uncomfortable sitting alone in her house with a few unknown people). while waiting for bf to finish his work, i received a call asking me to go for an interview on monday :D but time not confirm yet.

then we went to another customer's house at bukit kiara. when bf start doing his work outside, the lady went in the house, called "(name), do you want to go to the garden?". and after a while, expecting her to bring her daughter/son out to the garden, she carried a small and cute shih tzu to the garden. it's only a few months old and it keeps scratching itself (not sure it's a female/male). there's a small step behind the doggy. when it scratch left, it's backside fall down the step, then it scratch right, it's whole body tumble down. and since it's still very small, tumbling down like that really makes it look sooooo cute. feel like capturing it back to my house :p.

another customer's house is at tropicana. this is the first time i go in to tropicana and there's 2 little golf court 1 each side after you pass the guard house. the bungalows/semi-d sure look nice. there's not a single bungalow that look alike as if i'm not mistaken, it's buy the land and design it yourself. some really look very nice while 1-2 looks like a mini castle (but not very nice, too complicated?). the customer's house is a semi-d which looks nice too. when bf is working, i can keep hearing a dog's bark. then after some time, a big (when it's higher than my knee, i'll feel that it's big, cause i'm actually scare of dogs) golden retriever ran out from the customer's house with it's owner chasing it behind and asking it to stop. and of course, it did not stop. the moment i saw it running out, i feel so lucky i'm inside the van and my hand automatically hold the door to get ready to close it should it run to my side :p. but luckily, it ran to the little garden at the opposite direction from where i am. then the owner bring it for a short walk and back to the house where it got a small whack from the maid for running out like that.

finally, at 8++ pm, finish work liao. on the way to old klang road, at a traffic light t-junction, there's a motor with 2 barbarians? pass by us screaming like a ghost and thought it's funny. it's green light for the left juntion turning to our side and cars are coming non-stop. these 2 barbarian did not bother and made a u-turn nearly knocking/got knocked by a honda city. although it's bad to say this, but... if it really got knocked down, don't you think it's a good idea to get down, walk over and congratulate them?

the end.... just another boring long-winded story from me. but what to do, i'm no good at story telling and yet would like to let some friends know about my day/life.

nothing much to say. except that i've again... resigned. not that i don't like the job, but just.... well, an issue i don't want to mention. so please don't ask me why. feeling sooo hopeless about myself now. help!

Home Alone :-(

it's sunday. i'm at home alone now with nothing to do. so thought of posting something here. but... what should i write ah? mm...

went to watch 2 movies last few days. The Cave and The Chocolate Factory. The Cave is although not very exciting but not bad either. The Chocolate Factory also so-so only ler, quite funny but not very interesting. got any nice movie to recommend?

mm... really don't know what to write. lazy la. will update again once i thought of something. ;)

How's Work?

mm... should be ok kua. very lazy to type la.

reached the office at about 7.55am, got a punch card and so, go punch card lor. it's so hot as the air-conds are not switched on yet. after a while, the admin manager arrived and asked me to follow him. went up to the office (there are technicians everywhere in the office) and sat on a chair next to his desk while waiting for him to distribute new uniform to some of the technicians, lectured 1-2 of them and firing 1 of them :(.

finally it's my turn to get briefed (mini orientation?). then i was introduced to everyone one-by-one from every department upstairs and downstairs (like i can remember all their names :p) then back to his desk where he'll brief me about the company and also some hr, and he almost lost my punch card.

the director asked him to arrange something for me to do as she'll be in late. but because although i'm admin, in which department will i be in is not confirmed yet. so he didn't know ask me do what. end up he go walk around other departments and ask if anyone needs any help (i think). lucky i didn't have to wait long for something to do :p. i end up helping the reception to arrange statements that needs to be send out. helped her do that until almost lunch time and she started asking her other colleagues what to eat, where to order, etc. was waiting for her to ask me, but she didn't :(.

so i decided to stop helping her :p and go back up to the office. and started thinking should i go home for lunch? luckily my hardworking attitude :p (asking the secretary got what to do) got me an invitation to lunch. so waited for a while and went to lunch with her and 2 other colleagues at USJ 2. my 'pan mee' came last. and for those who know would have guess, end up, the 3 of them will have to wait for me to finish (no chance to enjoy the food).

went back to office, continue waiting for things to do, the director (no time layan me) got me somethings to do until 4 something, finally got the chance to get briefed by her and get my appointment letter. she told me i'll be on training this month, so i will have the chance to work in every department, before she decides what i'm good at and assign me my job scope accordingly. luckily i mention to her during interview that i don't like sales. else she'll assigned me to the 'Tele Sales' position. so she actually told me not to worry as i won't be doing any sales at all. hehe...

sat around until a little after 5 and finally saw few malay girls punch their card to go shopping. so without delaying much, i fast fast go punch my card and go home. if i don't appreciate finish work and leave at 5pm when i have the chance to, i might not have the chance next time :(.

why i can't work in a company where everyone can/will go back at 5pm sharp?? haiii..... and did i mention that the admin manager told me the MD is rather bad temper? and he also hate people to use the handphone in the office. so next time during working hours, no need to call me la. not to mention don't hope to see me online msn until after office hour.

i write until very long hor? no wonder i'm not at all good when it comes to summarize the story in less than 100 words during secondary school. :p
